Hidden Secrets of the Royal Mile
clan_broonford:
Something amazing happened today. I received a package all the way from Texas. Inside was a letter saying thank you for the content I make and a book that they had wrote about the royal mile. In the back there was even reference to me and my videos in the endnotes of the book.
It means the world that my videos help people have a great visit and maybe even inspire a little. Thank you Charron, you have no idea how much this means to me.

Woke up one morning to see two smiling facing with my first United States President book. These two people were strangers who became friends because each one had purchased my book. They spent and hour working out and talking about my book. Oh you can only image the excitement I had seeing this photo. No word can express my joy. I will treasure this picture forever.

Comment from my editor, Dr. Ruth Badal, I am going to place this book on my coffee table so when my Grandkids come over to visit, they can see this amazing fact based history book. They will see their grandmother's name in it, as the editor, and they will know that their grandma has approved this book as a great book to read about American history. It will be my legacy to them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great read and reread!
I don't usually write reviews. However, I felt compelled to write one for this book, not only because I enjoyed it so but because I found myself returning to it. I've read it now three times, and have, each time, enjoyed different aspects of it. Despite what had to be labor intensive, the book is well ordered, highly informative, easily accessible, and fun. Thank you Charron Moczygemba for your hard work! To those reading this review, I wholly recommend "Hidden Secrets of the Royal Mile," whether you're planning a trip to Scotland or a simple armchair traveler like me.

Ever wonder where the inspiration to Dr. Jekyll and
Mr. Hyde came from. Would you believe it was based upon a true story. Robert Lewis Stevenson grew up in the same city as his inspiration for his book.

Historical Guide to take to Boston
Walk through the foot steps of the people who dared to rebel against the British Empire. This book offered a rich history of the famous Freedom Trail. Walking the 16 points along the 2.5 mile trail, I learned about the sacrifices and struggle of men and women who dared to create the American Dream that we appreciate today. Great book and very insightful. a must read!

Facinating and factual history I never knew
Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2024
Reading through Boston's Historical Legacy was an eye opener. I never knew so much history about our nation had happened in a 2.5 mile radius. Within the book many myths were debunked and actual facts relayed, especially surrounding Paul Revere's famous midnight ride. I found the story about Finny the famous cod fish to be very interesting. I have never imaged the fame this fish had and still has today. Absolutely a must read. I learned far more than I could have ever imagined after reading through this book. Recommend to anyone visiting Boston or to those who would like to gain a better appreciation for our nations founding history.

The book is meticulous research, providing a synopsis of events that transpired under each President. Full of colorful images and photos to help illustrate the topic discussed. It's a great book to learn about the history of the first 6 US presidents and the policy's and actions taken place during their terms in office. Easy to understand and follow.

Maybe you thought history was a dry list of dates and events to memorize. This book gives you enough story to relate to the people of the time while focusing on key events. As an added bonus, every chapter has summary points for quick review. If you are a homeschooling parent wondering how or where to start in teaching history at home or in a co-op, I highly recommend this book.
5.0 out of 5 stars An Actual Fun History book!!

I love reading about History, especially about the Presidents. I picked up this book and have enjoyed it so much! The author writes things so simply and interesting that it is fun to read. She has created charts to help you understand the journey that each President encounters as well as all of their achievements during their four or eight year positions. This would be a great book for studying up and learning about some of the things we forgot, but also be a great supplemental to any high school or college student history readings.
